Spring & Summer in the Children's Garden
As long as nothing is accomplished, children love to join in whatever is being done—especially out of doors. They love to clip anything that doesn’t need clipping, to rake up leaves and then scatter them and above all they love to water. But they are wary of having their efforts directed to any good purpose. Elizabeth Lawrence
All youngsters are invited to join us in the Children’s Garden this spring!
At Wing Haven we always use literature as a starting point to explore the garden and its critters. Come prepared to get your hands dirty as we explore the frog pond and plant vegetables and flowers. Along the way we may even improve the garden as wildlife habitat and make it prettier for all to enjoy! Please register in advance for our programs!
